Happy 5th Birthday Sophie!

Simone's First Tap Performance

This evening was Simone's last day of Summer Ballet and Tap. This was a six week long session and her first time. They started learning this dance during the second class.

Simone enjoyed meeting new friends as all of the little girls in the class were so nice. There was one absent today.

It was SO much fun to watch her and she enjoyed doing it. I am not sure who was grinning more, Rick or I.

We are so proud of you Simone.

Simone has been learning about Japan at school. She is loving it. When we were talking about her day at school she basically was telling us facts about Japan. We could not believe the vocabulary she was using. Way to go Mrs. P!

I was pretty anxious about our doctors visits today but when I peaked out of my bathroom I saw Simone and Sophie on our bed singing the alphabet song while holding on to each other....It was SO very sweet. Sure did set the mood for the day.

My Flip Video is working again on my computer thanks to my Cousin Patrick so I am catching up with the videos.

Under The Deep Blue Sea

We had a fun evening, eating outside and listening to the girls singing and telling stories!! Here is a song they learned at preschool that goes along with their monthly theme. I love how Simone and Rick are helping Sophie Wei with her song.

As you can see Sophie Wei likes to run away and see if you would follow her. Simone loves to sing.

Another video is of Simone just answering some random questions. Seriously we are not going to China soon to bring home a baby brother....If it was up to Simone we would be. She keeps working us :)

Listening

Today after school I was uploading some photos to our blog when Simone was trying to tell me some thing. I told her just a minute and then she tapped me on the shoulder and started singing this song to me with Sophie Wei!!

I had my flip video right next to me so I asked them to sing it to me again.

(The girls are both sucking on kid's cough drops because they have been sick last week and Rick had strep throat. Sophie Wei has also had her last dentist appointment for a bit, we hope, we are excited for her to have a pain free mouth again.)

Birthday Warm Up

Simone warming up during her Lady Bug/Bee Gymnastics 4 th Birthday Party. I keep saying this but this was the best birthday party ever!! She wanted a small party with her family and close friends.

We are so proud of her and happy that she enjoys gymnastics!

Happy 4th Birthday Simone

Simone had a great 4th Birthday! Rick, Simone and I started the day out going to to breakfast with my Mom and Robert. It was yummy and they even sang to her!

Then we came home, Rick went for a bike ride and then we went to her Lady Bug, Bee, Gymnastics birthday party! It was so much fun!! We did gymnastics for one hour and then moved into the party room for a half of an hour. It was so much fun. We really appreciate Nasko and Tami for helping us set this up!! We appreciate your extra efforts :O)

Seeing Simone's big grin as we all sing Happy Birthday To is so sweet. She also loved it when we sang Happy Birthday to her in Chinese which is now a family tradition for all birthdays!

I love it how Simone takes out her first candle, gives it to Cooper, then one for Katelyn, one for Sara and then one for Nixon. She is giving them the candle so they can lick it because that is what she would do :O) So thoughtful.

We can't believe our little girl is 4! We had an amazing day with our family and Simone's best friends!! Thanks everyone for making her birthday so special and for everyone who thought of her on her BIG day.

We love you so very much Simone!!
