Today at school I was able to have my fifth graders participate in a very fun track meet. Their behavior was amazing and not to mention their athletic performances. I had two students that broke all time records in the long jump and 200 m. They made me SO SO PROUD!!
It is going to be a ruff end of the year to see these fifth graders graduate and go off to sixth grade because I have had them since they were KINDERGARTNERS!! Six years watching them grow up and get to know their parents. One of them even helps "watch" Simone for us!
Ah, what a day. Days like these remind me of why I am a teacher! Because I love children and I love to teach.
