Love You Because

I was inspired by Shana when she did a post on her blog about how much she loves her daughter. It was so inspiring that I wanted to do one for Simone....So here goes:

Sweet Simone,

I love the way you sleep on your tummy with your arms tucked under your belly and that you still want your cherished purple blankey. You still want to sip water as you go to bed.

I love the way you count and sing songs in Chinese.

I love the way you say, “Buggy” when ever you find a bug and that you love to hold bugs. I love the way you talk to bugs and animals, “Ah, baby its ok.”

I love the way you always ask if it is, “Mommy’s Turn”, to put you to bed.

I love it that you know your phone number and full name.

I love it that you remind me that plans change.

I love the way you put your money in your piggy bank and say, “for when I go to China.”

I love it that you let me fix your hair and when you told me your bows are for your sister too or when you ask me to "put birdies in your hair." (Two loopy pig tails.)

I love it when we are at church and you turn around and look at me and say, “SH, Sh, Shhhh” as your little pointy finger covers your mouth.

I love it when Lew is being naughty and you tell him, “Lew Kennel!!” Knowing that when you say that he starts to behave because he does not want to go outside. He just wants to be in with our family.

I Love the way you dance and sing.

I love the way you tumble and do head stands.

I love it when your Grandma Prater comes to visit and in the mornings, just as you wake up you want to go snuggle with her, sing your ABC’s and read many books.
I love it when you read your favorite books, Panda Bear, Panda Bear, What do you see?, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?, Green Eggs and Ham, Left Foot, Right Foot, Poo Counts.

I love it when you say “Mommy Hold You!”

I love the way you call your self Doctor Simone, “I can fix it” and when you get the slightest little ouches you say you need to see the doctor.

I love your Smile!

I love the way you scream across the street to Auntie Becca’s house and say, “Sara Anne, Emma Kay.”

I love to hear you say, “I Love YOU, Wa I Nee!”

I love it when your Daddy chases you around the house.

I love you because just as I question and ask why, you remind me about Faith.

I am so blessed to have you in our life. Love you Simoney!
