Once a week we spend time with Fan. Fan teaches Simone Mandarin. Simone adores her and has so much fun with her. After a few minutes of studying Simone will run excitingly into the other room where I wait with Fans Mom to tell me what she has learned. 
Hmm, whats next?

They are so darling working hard at studying. That is wonderful that Simone is learning Mandarin. I pray one day Hannah will learn too but for now she is 22 months and still not speaking much at all.
I hold out for the hope she will one day be fluent in both.
