More From Our Trip to Idaho

Here are some more photos from our trip to Idaho on the weekend of 9/27/07. Simone loved carrying around her long stick and did not want to settle for a smaller one. I love this photo of her. Her smile is so refreshing!

My Uncle Terry is below taking us on a guided tour of his property. It was very chilly that day.

Ah, it finally warms up.
20 minutes later.........I ask Simone, "Do you want Mommy to carry that stick for you?" Simone replies, "No Mommy I got it, watch this."

My Uncle told me that this is the porta potty for the Women since his "Base Camp" is too far. I love it. Very creative.

Mommy, you have a stick too? Yes, after I found out why my Uncle was carrying his.....I was told that if any animals come out you have to raise your stick very high and that should scare them away. I never knew that......That little stick was not very comforting after I found that out and then I realized why my Uncle had bells on his back pack. We had a great time on our trip. Ah, the wilderness.
