Simone was really into helping me decorate the tree this year....well for a few minutes. She much rather would play with her Fisher Price baby Jesus nativity set. We are enjoying the magic of the season. Last week the letter of the week at preschool was C. Simone totally got it. She said "the letter C stands for Christmas, Jesus birthday!"
We went to a local tree farm to cut down our Christmas tree two days after Thanksgiving. We had a great time. It started to snow before we got there so that added a nice touch. Rick and Simone are squinting due to the snow coming down so fast. (The picture does not show it too well.) We got to see two Lamas while we were there, take a tractor ride, see more animals and drink hot chocolate. This is a yearly tradition that we look forward too.
