This morning after breakfast as I was working on the dishes the girls were playing so quietly and nice I had to stop what I was doing to make sure they were ok. This is what I saw. They were being SO SWEET and not arguing. They were smiling at each other. What a nice start to the day.
As you can see by these photos Sophie Wei is still fighting a cold. We can not keep up with her nose!
Simone would play a song and Sophie Wei would say "NO" and then Simone would play another one. They would repeat this over and over and make each other laugh.
After nap time and lunch we got ready to go and find some versital sandals. We had been admiring the Keen's that the Hettingers purchased and my friend Ann from work has a very cool pair that I have my eye on.
Sophie Wei making me chase her around the house for a photo.
On our way home Simone was just relaxing and Sophie Wei asked for her art tablet and marker. The girls always draw while they are in the car. It is rare when they do not. As we are driving home I thought, hum...it is quiet back there. I look at Simone and she is just chilling....(Simone actually fell asleep before we got home.)
Then I look at Sophie Wei and this is what I see!!!!!!!!!! RED LIPS, Red fingers, Red Legs and Red car seat straps. When I said to her "boo yaw shay shay" she put her head down, pouted her lip and looked sad...I felt bad for telling her that but we had too. I took a couple of photos with my cell phone and then took these below right when we got home.
Yes, we are moving to crayons for the car. Atleast I needed to wash this car seat cover anyways. Who can stay mad at such a cute little girl and that smile!

That is precious. Exactly the reason we use Crayola Washable Colored Pencils only in the car!!!
Red is definately their color. Looks great! Wee!!!!! Thank the Lord for baby wipes. I use them for everything and if they dont take it off, then it's going to stay that way. Love your posts!!! Love being part of your life!!!

Funny! Hope those were the washables... We're all about the Magnadoodles in the car!
About your comment on my blog - I DO remember our first conversations (and frustrations and comparing research) and I am amazed with the ways our families have grown. We ARE soooooo blessed!
I am sorry, but that is too funny!
